Abstract. One of the objectives of the study is to determine the role of the oil sector of the state economy in its socio-economic development. Socio-economic programs are financed from the national and local budgets, including the national Fund. Funds Of the national Fund of Kazakhstan at the end of September 2018 amounted to 22.9 trillion tenge, which is 6.2% more than a year earlier – 21.6 trillion tenge. The maximum amount of funds in the accounts of the National Fund was observed in the corresponding period in 2016 – 24.9 trillion tenge. The study analyzed budget revenues at various levels and the national Fund from the oil sector of the economy. The share of revenues from the oil sector ranges from 50% to 100% in the study period.
