Abstract. The aim of the study was to elucidate the pathomorphological changes in swine virus infection in pig breeding farms in the Almaty region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Patients with circovirus infection, observed most in the group of growing, less often in weaning and fattening. The nature of pathomorphological changes in swine virus infection indicates that the main pathological process is concentrated in the kidneys, liver, lungs and lymph nodes. In all cases, venous hyperemia, granular, sometimes fatty degeneration of the liver and kidneys, widening of the gallbladder and overflowing with bile with an admixture of mucus were often detected. This problem is especially urgent now in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in connection with the transition of agricultural enterprises to new forms of ownership, when workers, as well as management are directly interested in increasing the quantity of products and improving its quality.
Key words: circovirus infection, pig, pathomorphological changes, dystrophy, necrosis, lymphadenitis.
