Abstract. The influence of such types of deformation as tension, torsion, tensile torsions, etc. arising in various types of rolling, on the resistance of deformation, the formation of structures and the ultimate plasticity of brass L63 are considered in the article. The STD 812 torsion barometer was used for these investigation . It is shown that the applied load exerts a significant influence on the deformation resistance curves. When tensile deformations are applied, deformation is localized in the necks of the deformation center in comparison with torsion and twisting tension. It is established that deformation of samples by stretching, torsion and tensile torsion leads to the formation of a relatively fine-grained structure in brass of L63. In this case, the specimens deformed by twisting stretching have a finer-grained structure compared to samples deformed by stretching and torsion. Brass L 63 has the maximum plasticity in the range of 700-900 oС.
Key words: tension, torsion, tensile torsion, brass Л63, return, polygonization, recrystallization, deformation resistance, ultimate plasticity
